If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever
you wish, and it will be given you.( John 15:7 )
We often forget that the meaning of this verse is not that which promises whatever we pray for will indeed be given. For we do not know what our future holds, only God knows. Our Loving Father will answer our prayers according to His Will. He knows the past, present and future and will give us only that which is good. After all, have you never looked back and thought thank goodness God Didn’t Answer That Prayer, knowing at that time it would not have been in your best interest. Well, He knows, therefore pray and seek for His Will To Be Done in your life always.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.(James 5:16)
So; Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Amen. ( 1 Thessalonians5:17-18 )
