إنجيل القدّيس لوقا 6-1:14
وَدَخَلَ يَسُوعُ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ بَيْتَ أَحَدِ رُؤَسَاءِ الفَرِّيسِيِّينَ لِتَنَاوُلِ الطَّعَام، وكَانَ هؤُلاءِ يُرَاقِبُونَهُ.
وَإِذَا رَجُلٌ مُصَابٌ بِدَاءِ الٱسْتِسْقَاءِ يَحْضُرُ أَمَامَهُ.
فَخَاطَبَ يَسُوعُ عُلَمَاءَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالفَرِّيسِيِّينَ قَائِلاً: «هَلْ يَحِلُّ الشِّفَاءُ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ أَمْ لا؟».
فَظَلُّوا صَامِتِين. فَأَخَذَ يَسُوعُ الرَّجُلَ بِيَدِهِ وَشَفَاهُ وَصَرَفَهُ.
وَقالَ لَهُم: «مَنْ مِنْكُم يَقَعُ ٱبْنُهُ، أَوْ ثَوْرُهُ، في بِئْرٍ يَوْمَ السَّبْت، وَلا يُسَارِعُ فَيَنْتَشِلُهُ؟».
فَلَمْ يَقْدِرُوا أَنْ يُجِيبُوهُ عَنْ ذلِكَ
English:
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 19:23-30.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and said, “Who then can be saved?”
Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
Then Peter said to him in reply, “We have given up everything and followed you. What will there be for us?”
Jesus said to them, “Amen, I say to you that you who have followed me, in the new age, when the Son of Man is seated on his throne of glory, will yourselves sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times more, and will inherit eternal life.
But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.

Evangelio según San Mateo 19,23-30.
Jesús dijo entonces a sus discípulos: “Les aseguro que difícilmente un rico entrará en el Reino de los Cielos.
Sí, les repito, es más fácil que un camello pase por el ojo de una aguja, que un rico entre en el Reino de los Cielos”.
Los discípulos quedaron muy sorprendidos al oír esto y dijeron: “Entonces, ¿quién podrá salvarse?”.
Jesús, fijando en ellos su mirada, les dijo: “Para los hombres esto es imposible, pero para Dios todo es posible”.
Pedro, tomando la palabra, dijo: “Tú sabes que nosotros lo hemos dejado todo y te hemos seguido. ¿Qué nos tocará a nosotros?”.
Jesús les respondió: “Les aseguro que en la regeneración del mundo, cuando el Hijo del hombre se siente en su trono de gloria, ustedes, que me han seguido, también se sentarán en doce tronos, para juzgar a las doce tribus de Israel.
Y el que a causa de mi Nombre deje casa, hermanos o hermanas, padre, madre, hijos o campos, recibirá cien veces más y obtendrá como herencia la Vida eterna.
Muchos de los primeros serán los últimos, y muchos de los últimos serán los primeros.
