إنجيل القدّيس متّى 53-47:13
قالَ الربُّ يَسوع: يُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ شَبَكَةً أُلْقِيَتْ في البَحْر، فَجَمَعَتْ سَمَكاً مِنْ كُلِّ نَوْع
ولَمَّا ٱمْتَلأَتْ أَخْرَجَهَا الصَّيَّادُونَ إِلى الشَّاطِئ، وجَلَسُوا فَجَمَعُوا الجَيِّدَ في سِلال، وطَرَحُوا الرَّدِيءَ إِلى الخَارِج
هكَذَا يَكُونُ في نِهَايَةِ العَالَم: يَخْرُجُ المَلائِكَةُ فَيُمَيِّزُونَ الأَشْرَارَ مِن بَينِ الأَبْرَار
ويُلْقُونَهُم في أَتُّونِ النَّار. هُنَاكَ يَكُونُ البُكَاءُ وصَرِيْفُ الأَسْنَان
أَفَهِمْتُم هذَا كُلَّهُ؟. قَالُوا لَهُ: نَعَم
فَقَالَ لَهُم: لِذلِكَ كُلُّ كَاتِبٍ تَتَلْمَذَ لِمَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ يُشْبِهُ رَجُلاً رَبَّ بَيْتٍ يُخْرِجُ مِنْ كَنْزِهِ الجَدِيْدَ والقَديم
ولَمَّا أَتَمَّ يَسُوعُ هذِهِ الأَمْثَال، ٱنْتَقَلَ مِنْ هُنَاك
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 13:18-21.
Then he said, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed that a person took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and ‘the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.'”
Again he said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?
It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed (in) with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened.”
