Il gravit la montagne et l\u00e0, il s&#8217;assit. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>De grandes foules s&#8217;approch\u00e8rent de lui, avec des boiteux, des aveugles, des estropi\u00e9s, des muets, et beaucoup d&#8217;autres encore ; on les d\u00e9posa \u00e0 ses pieds et il les gu\u00e9rit. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Alors la foule \u00e9tait dans l&#8217;admiration en voyant des muets qui parlaient, des estropi\u00e9s r\u00e9tablis, des boiteux qui marchaient, des aveugles qui voyaient\u00a0; et ils rendirent gloire au Dieu d&#8217;Isra\u00ebl. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>J\u00e9sus appela ses disciples et leur dit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Je suis saisi de compassion pour cette foule\u00a0: car depuis trois jours d\u00e9j\u00e0, ils restent aupr\u00e8s de moi et n&#8217;ont rien \u00e0 manger. Je ne veux pas les renvoyer \u00e0 jeun\u00a0; ils pourraient d\u00e9faillir en chemin.\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Les disciples lui disent\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0O\u00f9 trouverons-nous dans un d\u00e9sert assez de pain pour rassasier une telle foule ?\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>J\u00e9sus leur demanda\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Combien de pains avez-vous\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb Ils dirent\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Sept, et quelques petits poissons.\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Alors il ordonna \u00e0 la foule de s&#8217;asseoir par terre. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Il prit les sept pains et les poissons; rendant gr\u00e2ce il les rompit, il les donnait aux disciples, et les disciples aux foules. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Tous mang\u00e8rent et furent rassasi\u00e9s.
